Temporary Solutions For Contemporary Pollutions
I’m denied real affection, because I haven’t earned it
and
it seems what I was after wasn’t all that great after all
yet
I know that I would have been way into it anyway;
though
the phlegm stuck at the back of my tongue is no less bitter
and
I wretch and heave no less when I see the mess that I’ve done.
So
now I decide I’m open to the idea of temporary solutions
to
combat ailments induced by contemporary pollutions
but
it appears as though I have not earned any of that either.
